A completed profile page is much more likely to catch a hirer’s eye than an empty one. Updating and adding to your profile is easy, and can be done at any time.
Simply go to the Profile page
and start filling your details in.
The sidebar options let you update your location, contact information, Security Clearance level, as well as options to add links to your social media profiles/portfolio.
The ‘Skills and Experience
’ section is the most important section of your profile, so be sure to complete it accurately. Your Summary section gives recruiters a good overview of your experience, and the ‘Industry Sectors’ section will help them to find you for roles in specific fields. Filling out the ‘Key Skills’ section will also allow recruiters to find you more easily during searches.
’ section should be filled out with your current work status (Permanent/In Contract/Out of Contract). This will update your profile to display end dates/notice periods to recruiters at a glance.
The ‘CV & Cover Letter
’ section allows you to add multiple CVs and cover letters, so you can tailor your applications for each role. You can also set a “Primary CV”, which is the main one available for recruiters to view.
The ‘Account Details
’ section is where you can change your password.
